Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern use of the HomeField Tax website and portal.

Draft — not yet in force · Last updated 2026-08-06

This is not the final document.

The signed version is with counsel and will be posted here in full before we accept a first client. Until it is, nothing on this page is a contract term. The document that governs the work is the Property Tax Grievance Agreement, which you read and sign before anything is filed.

The final Terms and Conditions are with counsel. They will be posted on this page, in full, before we accept a first client, and they will govern from the effective date printed at the top.

Two documents sit behind this one, and it is worth knowing which is which.

  • These Terms cover the website and the client portal.
  • The Property Tax Grievance Agreement is the contract for the work itself. It is a

separate document, it carries the fee and the cancellation right, and you read and sign it before anything is filed on your behalf. Nothing on this website commits you to it.

What the agreement will say about the fee

We charge 35% of the first-year tax savings we win. Nothing is due upfront, and if the county grants no reduction there is no fee. Where the law lowers your assessment on its own, that part is not ours to bill and we do not bill it.

You can always file for yourself

Every Nassau homeowner may file a grievance directly with the Assessment Review Commission, free, without a representative. Hiring us is one option, not a requirement.
