Every Nassau home the county assesses.

Nassau County assesses the Towns of Hempstead, North Hempstead and Oyster Bay, and the Assessment Review Commission hears every appeal from them. We file in all three. Pick your village or hamlet for the county's own figures on homes there.

The two exceptions

Glen Cove and Long Beach assess their own.

Both cities run their own assessing department and their own board of assessment review, on a different calendar from the county. An appeal on a home inside either city goes to that city, not to Nassau ARC, and we do not file it. Homes with a Glen Cove or Long Beach mailing address that sit outside the city line are ordinary town parcels, and those we do file.
