This page supplements our Privacy Policy. It explains our website tracking and how to turn optional tracking off.
Your tracking choice
Use Turn off optional analytics and ad tracking to stop PostHog collection and an active session recording. Our signup-step log and service and security records continue.
We store this preference in a cookie named hft_no_track for one year. It applies to the browser where you make the choice. Use the control in each browser you use. If you clear the cookie, you may need to set your preference again. Turning optional tracking off stops future collection; it does not delete information already collected. Contact us about deletion requests.
We also honor Global Privacy Control. While your browser sends that signal, we keep optional tracking off even if you try to change the website control.

What PostHog receives
PostHog receives page views, page exits, signup-step events, campaign information, filtered page addresses, IP addresses, and browser details. It assigns a random browser identifier and uses a cookie and browser storage to recognize return visits. A random identifier does not make all this information anonymous.
We filter page addresses to remove property identifiers, typed addresses, personal link codes, and advertising click identifiers. We retain campaign and language settings. We apply filtering to links, image addresses, and request addresses included in recordings. We do not record request headers or bodies.
Session replays show how visitors navigate, click, and scroll. We mask form entries, selected intake answers, and displayed personal details, including names, property addresses, contact information, and referral greetings. We exclude the signature pad and signed document. We can see that someone completed a step without seeing the private answer or content.
We disable automatic click-event capture, heatmaps, exception capture, console logging, and surveys. Replay still shows interactions such as clicks. We do not create identified PostHog person profiles. PostHog receives signup-step events with campaign and page information, but not the identifier used to connect our internal signup log to an application.
Where we exclude optional tracking
We exclude the customer portal, staff and partner tools, sign-in pages, signed-document links, resume links, cancellation links, and internal preview pages. If you enter an excluded page during a recorded visit, we stop recording and suppress analytics events for that page.
We exclude uploaded documents, payment-card details, and signature content from PostHog.
Our signup-step log
Our separate log records campaign arrivals and steps such as starting an address search, seeing suggestions, selecting a property, receiving a result or error, and completing a signup.
It uses a random identifier stored for the browser tab. When you submit an inquiry or application from that tab, we save the identifier with it so we can connect the steps. The log also includes campaign source, referring website, device type, timing, and diagnostic counts or error codes. It records address-input length, not the address text. We do not store an IP address on the step record; we hash it for rate limiting. Our hosting and security providers may keep separate access logs.
Our staff can access these records in our hosted database. The optional-tracking control does not stop this log.
Advertising tags
Our Google Ads, Meta, and Reddit website tags are disabled. We will update the Privacy Policy and this page before enabling them. No advertising tag needs to run for you to use our services.
